Following is a snapshot of the Beartooth Challenge Chrome tour June 21-25 2012:

 

 

 

Thursday June 21:         Registration between 3 and 5PM

                                    Welcome party that evening.  Light dinner. Refreshments.

 

Friday June 22  :           Tour to Pompeys Pillar then on to the Hardin Montana’s

 Homestead Museum.  Lunch included.   Onto the Big Horn Battlefield.

                                    Social Hour, Dinner in the city on your own.

 

Saturday June 23:         A day in the city.   All venues are within walking distance.  A static display of our cars on a city street.  Judging to be decided?  Social hour, Dinner in the city on your own.

 

Sunday June 24:           “The Challenge”  We will climb the Sunlight Basin and cross the 11,000 ft pass which the late Charles Kurualt called; “The most beautiful drive in America”.  Lunch included.   Social hour.  Dinner in the city on your own.

 

Monday June 25:          A beautiful country drive to the tourist town of Red Lodge Montana.

                                    Closing Banquet and program.

 

Host Hotel:  The Clock Tower Inn 2511 1st Ave N, Billings, Montana (800) 628-9081 $75-85    (say; “VMCCA Chrome Glidden”) This Best Western Motel offers covered parking and is situated in the heart of Billings Montana. Numerous restaurants and shopping all within easy walking distance.    Each evening there will be a  parking lot social hour before we walk it dinner.
