Spring is the time when most folks are making plans for warm-weather tours, shows, drives, and swap meets. I hope you have plenty of car-related activities already on your calendars for this year. If you need more ideas, just keep reading this magazine.
There’s a lot going on with your national club, too. Your new 2026 officers are learning the ropes and working hard to keep our tours and activities on the move. You met our new VMCCA National Secretary, Andrew Shepherd, in the January–February issue. In this issue we pay tribute to retiring Secretary Mike Welsh, who’s kept us organized and efficient for nearly twenty years.
2026 membership dues were due on January 1st. We’ve had to reach out several times since then to encourage too many folks to catch up. If you still haven’t paid for 2026, then this will be your final Bulb Horn. Don’t let that happen—get your dues in, please, so you don’t miss any of our activities! You can find the latest registration form on our website, VMCCA.org. Thank you! Also reach out to Andrew Shepherd; he can be contacted at 567-396-0618 or vsecretary@vmcca.org.
In this issue we welcome new members who joined VMCCA during the last part of 2025. At the end of March, during our VMCCA Annual Membership Meeting, we’ll honor a group of people who have been continuous VMCCA members for 25, 30, 40, 50, and 60 years. Long-time friends and brand-new folks enjoying old cars—that’s what we’re all about!
